Looking Ahead to 2019

In the year of his 71st birthday, Stephen Schwartz is moving full speed ahead with his movie and stage musical work. I have some news about his involvement in ASCAP musical theatre workshops that I won’t be able to share until 2019. Also, I’m also working on a possible talk back and book signing with Stephen in Connecticut that would be in February, and another possible event in California in the late spring. So stay tuned.

In his Update for the October issue of The Schwartz Scene, Stephen wrote about his next cruise musical project, Hawaiian Goddess; his work on a movie with writer David Magee, whose credits include The Life of Pi and Mary Poppins Returns; his efforts on the revised version of Rags; his hope for a first class production of The Prince of Egypt 2019; and more. If you missed it, view the Fall 2018 issue here.
